I am in doubt here.

1. What is fanout in R-Tree?

   According to the definition, fanout (f) means non-leaf node capacity. So does it mean fanout is maximum entry (M) per node?

2. Is number of children (parent node) under the root is same with number of children (leaf node) under parent node?
